Meghann Sottile received a BFA in Metalworking and a BFA in Art Education from Arizona State University. She instructed workshops for the Eleanor A. Robb Children’s Art Workshop at ASU and has taught workshops on the Navajo Nations at Many Farms’ Annual Arts Festival. From 2013-2014, she was the Metals Artist in Residence at Lillstreet Art Center where she further developed her craft, taught classes and continues to teach there. Sottile currently is an Instructional Specialist in the Makerspace Facilities at Columbia College Chicago where she has expanded her skillset to include advanced woodworking, lasercutting, printmaking, and bookbinding, while maintaining her metalsmithing practice in her home studio.
